COUNTRY ON THE CLYDE REVEAL THEIR WEEKENDER LINE-UP FOR 2023

Country on the Clyde returns to Glasgow following another successful country music weekender last Spring. Taking place over the weekend afternoons of the 11th & 12th March on The Ferry, coinciding with C2C, the organisers continue with their loyal commitment of supporting homegrown Scottish talent, as well as bringing performers across The Atlantic from Nashville and south of the border here in the UK.

Nashville based country artist Karen Waldrup will headline the Sunday afternoon with The New Orleans songstress and 12-time Nashville Industry Music Awards winner also joining Northern Irish singer-songwriter Gary Quinn for the fan favourite Writers Round on Saturday. Waldrup’s debut album JUSTIFIED, produced by multi-award winner Garth Fundis (known for his work with Trisha Yearwood and Alabama, among others) debuted on four of Billboard’s Album Charts and saw her track “Sometimes He Does,” included in Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top 10 Country and Americana songs of the week.

Described as “Americana, with a gritty twist”, Leeds based Emilia Quinn will finish out afternoon proceedings on the Saturday with her band. With powerful yet husky vocals, her songs tell stories while blowing audiences away with musical skill.

Scotland will once again be well represented by The Coaltown Daisies, Mayah Herlihy, Nico Evans, Liv Dawn and Robyn Red. Completing the line-up are Gary Quinn, Jess Thristan, Alan Finlan, Luke Flear and Shea Rafferty.

Lunch can be booked but needs to be done so in advance with The Ferry.

Limited weekend tickets are available on Skiddle and day tickets will be released on Sat the 14th Jan at 10am via the following link: COTC Tickets - https://www.skiddle.com/whats-on-beta/Glasgow/The-Ferry/Country-on-the-Clyde/36035098/

If you’re looking to continue the country party in Glasgow once things have finished at The Hydro then Country on the Clyde are also hosting their popular COTC After Parties in Audio, Midland Street from 11pm on the Friday (10th) and Saturday (11th). There’ll be extra live performances from Gary Quinn (Fri), Karen Waldrup (Sat) and friends followed by a DJ set until 2am blasting out all the Nashville bangers!
