Globally renowned country-pop favourite Maren Morris has been announced as the Sunday night headliner for the 2026 edition of The Long Road Festival. Maren will be performing a UK exclusive, so get those Stetson’s at the ready as this multi-platinum powerhouse will be bringing all the hits.

The UK’s favourite immersive country festival returns for its seventh year, on the August 2026 Bank Holiday weekend (27th - 30th), taking place on the scenic grounds of Stanford Hall in Leicestershire.

Maren Morris has firmly solidified herself as this generation’s country-pop trailblazer, breaking boundaries, smashing records, and defining her status as a dynamic vocalist, prolific songwriter, and showstopping performer on her own terms. Among numerous accolades, she has garnered a GRAMMY®Award, five ACM Awards, five CMA Awards, and three Billboard Music Awards, alongside earning gold certifications worldwide and tallying billions of streams. She has collaborated with the likes of Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Teddy Swims, Zedd and Hozier, whilst selling out tours on multiple continents. The Long Road Festival is thrilled to be welcoming such a defining voice in modern country to the stage this summer, for her only UK show of 2026.

Baylen Leonard, Festival Co-Founder, says of the announcement: “We couldn't be more excited to welcome the fearless and peerless Maren Morris to TLR this year! A storyteller, a mold breaker, and an absolute authentic powerhouse with a catalogue of smash hits and singalong anthems that is sure to make it a night to remember. I'm sure I won't be alone in getting on someone's shoulders to wave my hands back and forth and scream sing My Church! Can't wait!”

Further new additions gracing the bill on Friday include, British country duo and CMA award winners The Shires, soul bearing next gen artist Stella Prince, UK singer-songwriter Harleymoon Kemp, Nashville honed Harper O'Neil and ‘Cowgirl Polly Pocket’ Chanel Yates.

Saturday new additions comprise of gritty country-rock artist Shaylen, London hailing Simon Howard, Aussie breakout Hayley Jensen, classic country crooner Chandler Walters, 4-piece First Time Flyers, folk-tinged songstress Emily Scott Robinson, bluegrass collective Susto Stringband, acclaimed singer-songwriter Lizzie No, UK standout Twinnie and rising artist Dawson Anderson.

It certainly doesn’t stop there, with an array of newly added Sunday stage stormers including Errol Linton, dark country duo Knucklehead, Canadian Juno Award nominee Luca Fogale, acoustic two-piece Outpost Drive, rock dynamo Dan Byrne, genre blending artist Riley Downing, breakout duo Ryan & Rory and Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support.

High energy stage takeovers from Loose Music Records, Snakefarm Records and Oh Boy! Records will also take place across the weekend.

This announcement follows a whole host of previously revealed artists spanning multiple generations, from legendary performers to emerging artists and innovative new voices.

Multi-platinum, record-breaking artist Bailey Zimmerman will take to the mainstage as the Saturday night headliner, marking his first UK performance in more than two years, following his sold-out UK and European headline run in 2024. Iconic, 14-time GRAMMY® winner Emmylou Harris will bring timeless country and americana to the festival, as she wraps her lauded ‘European Farewell Tour’ for a special performance on Sunday 30th. Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member, and recent inductee into the Grand Ole Opry Steve Earle will also join the lineup for a special solo acoustic performance. Breakout Floridian folk band The 502s, often called “the happiest band on Earth” will join the bill, alongside Canadian country sensation Josh Ross, who is known for his chart-topping, radio-ready hits such as the genre-bending collaboration with Akon on their countrified version of ‘Na Na Na’.

Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member and multiple GRAMMY winning legend Jim Lauderdale is set to perform highlights from a decades-spanning career, while Shakey Graves, The Felice Brothers, Uncle Lucius, Striking Matches and Oliver Hazard will also perform across the weekend. Celebrated as a true tastemaker event, The Long Road has built a reputation for spotlighting artists at every stage in their career, from powerhouse veterans to rising stars like Zandi Holup, and Jason Scott & The High Heat, who are set to make their UK debut. Additional UK based artists taking to the stage this year are Kezia Gill, The Hanging Stars, Rose Betts, Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou and Liam Price; Price was the winner of the festival’s inaugural Homegrown Talent Contest in 2025, which will take place again at this year’s festival to showcase the current crop of new artists. Applications for the 2026 contest will launch very soon, with further information to follow.

With each of its six stages inspired by the places that shape country music throughout an artist’s journey - from front porches and dive bars, to miles across the Interstate, to the big-break Rhinestone stage, festival-goers can uncover talent across multiple stages.

Arriving for a culinary debut at The Long Road, Red Dog Saloon will be bringing their Austin-style BBQ restaurant on-site, smokers and all, to deliver a unique festival experience, serving sharing platters piled high with signature smoked meats and all the fixings, alongside all-American brunches with a BBQ twist. The restaurant is available to pre-book for eager diners.

Beyond the music, The Long Road offers the chance for audiences to step off the beaten track and immerse themselves in the country lifestyle: think Stateside food traders, craft beers, line dancing, and the Lucky Dice Car & Bike show. From family-friendly adventures and vintage funfair rides to the high-octane fun of ‘country-oke,’ it’s the ultimate destination for those who want to live and breathe the Nashville spirit.
