The NFL just dropped the official schedule for the 2026 London Games, and it is a massive three-week takeover of the capital. As part of a record-breaking nine-game international slate this year, London remains the crown jewel of the league’s global expansion.
Here is everything you need to know about today's announcement.
The 2026 London Matchups
The league has confirmed three games across October, featuring a mix of familiar faces and a long-awaited return.
Jacksonville continues its unprecedented commitment to the UK. For the third time, the Jaguars will play back-to-back weeks in London. They’ll start at the high-tech Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against the Eagles before moving to the "Home of Football," Wembley Stadium, to host their AFC South rivals, the Houston Texans.
The Washington Commanders are returning to London for the first time in a decade. After appearing in the inaugural Madrid game last season, the Commanders are finally heading back across the pond to kick off the London series against Anthony Richardson and the Colts.
While London is the focal point today, the NFL revealed that 2026 will be its most ambitious year yet. The London games are part of a nine-game international tour that includes:
Melbourne, Australia: 49ers vs. Rams (Season Opener)
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Ravens vs. Cowboys
Madrid, Spain: Falcons vs. Bengals
Paris, France: Saints vs. Steelers
Munich, Germany: Lions vs. Patriots
Mexico City, Mexico: 49ers vs. Vikings
If you’re looking to snag a seat, mark your calendars. The American Express presale for the Tottenham games begins Wednesday, May 27 at 10:00 AM. General sale dates are expected to be announced shortly after via the official NFL UK channels.
Commissioner Roger Goodell on the expansion: "We’re hearing from cities all over the world that want to host these games. The 2026 season represents our most expansive and ambitious international slate yet."
With the Jaguars arriving as the defending AFC South Champions and star QBs like Jalen Hurts and C.J. Stroud scheduled to make the trip, the 2026 London Games are shaping up to be the most competitive series the UK has ever seen.
